Certifications

As for special projects and activities, Navigo acts as an intermediary between institutions and nautical companies in obtaining particular certifications, or for the administration of preparatory questionnaires for obtaining subsidies and contributions from public bodies.

As regards certifications, Origin and Blue Innovation is the voluntary qualification system developed by the Chambers of Commerce for competitiveness on the markets, innovation and sustainability of companies in the nautical sector.
The project, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Lucca and within the Unioncamere project “Quality and Qualification of Made in Italy supply chains” aimed to enhance and highlight entrepreneurial best practices through the creation of a benchmark model regarding the macro-sectors of “made in Italy” production and the rules of environmental sustainability.
Navigo was then a digital promoter in the PID project – Digital Innovation Point – an initiative of the Chambers of Commerce and Unioncamere to support the digitalisation of businesses in the nautical sector in the challenging context of Transition 4.0. As part of the PID project Navigo supported companies in the following ways:

• informative, supporting digital and innovation I4.0 and Digital Agenda;
• digital assistance, orientation and training through information activities, seminars, conferences and information and training pills
• assessment of the level of digital maturity of SELFI 4.0 companies
• DIGITAL SKILL VOYAGER: a fun tool to measure your personal digital skills
• orientation, for the more specialized services, towards the Digital Innovation Hubs, the Competence Centers and in collaboration with special companies and other structures of the chamber of commerce system;
• supporting companies in digital transformation processes through non-repayable contributions for digitalisation

Navigo then actively collaborates with universities and centers of expertise for the administration of ad hoc questionnaires to companies in the sector, for surveys and studies at a national level, contributing in the drafting of the questions to be asked, to make it as effective and timely as possible.
