NAVIGO confirms Katia Balducci as President

The shareholders’ meeting of NAVIGO, a centre for innovation and development for the nautical industry, which has 177 members, was held today at the new Viareggio Fish Market.

During the meeting, Katia Balducci was confirmed as president, marking an important continuity in the strategic leadership of the organization. The renewal of the Administrative Body and the Board of Directors was also approved, consolidating the structure that will guide NAVIGO towards its next strategic objectives.

The newly appointed directors are Federico Rossi (Rossinavi shipyard), Alessandro Musetti (Eni Musetti installer and representative for CNA), Roberto Fruzza (Nexus yachts fitter and representative for Confartigianato), Giacomo Buzzoni (ESAOM refit shipyard), Rodolfo Pasquini (Vice President of the North-West Tuscany Chamber of Commerce).

Another key point was the approval of the multi-year strategic plan, which outlined the main guidelines for the coming years – and received full approval from the members – together with the progress of the ongoing projects, services and events organized by NAVIGO with the presentation of a roadmap that strengthens the presence and role of NAVIGO at an international level.

Particular attention was paid to the theme of innovation, considered central to supporting the competitiveness and growth of the nautical sector. The company will continue to work closely with businesses and institutions to promote innovative and sustainable solutions.
